Sunflower Greens

  Sunflower Greens are the iconic, most versatile of all microgreens.  They have a mild but full flavor, and an incredible crisp texture.  Sunflower Greens make a delicious addition to salads, sandwiches, juices, and are great eaten alone.  

  Sunflower Greens are high in Vitamins A, B, C, and E, as well as Calcium, Chlorophyll, Iron, Magnesium, Niacin, Phosphorus, Potassium, and Amino Acids.

Protein Content: 20-25%

Occasionally some hulls may remain on the leaves at harvest time, so we recommend rinsing the cut greens in a bowl of water and allowing the hulls to float to the top where you can easily remove them.  We grow our Sunnys with additional Earthworm Castings to imbue greater flavor, nutrition, and ease of shedding the hulls.
